In the name of Allah, the Merciful
Nature, with all its animal and plant species, is considered a complete natural complex and an evolved ecosystem, and people should be aware that if this great God-given resource is not used wisely, future generations will be deprived of this divine blessing.
In this regard, the preservation and protection of wildlife and natural resources, as a national asset and a renewable resource, has always been of interest to those concerned and experts in this field, and domestic and foreign experiences show that the best function of biodiversity protection is the result of the participation of indigenous people with appropriate economic power and the combined supervision of the government sector.
The residents and natives of the Jashlobar region and its suburbs formed a cooperative company with the aim of supporting and protecting the wildlife of the region and preserving and utilizing the natural resources of Afdam.
In this regard, one of the great successes of this company is the implementation of the Jashlobar Special Reserve Management Plan with an area of over 30,000 hectares, which has been assigned to this cooperative company by the Iranian Environmental Protection Organization.
Considering that the occupation of most members of the cooperative company is animal husbandry and agriculture and they are the owners and beneficiaries of the pastures within the exclusive reserve area , ¬we have witnessed admirable support from the residents and beneficiaries of the reserve area ¬in the implementation of the exclusive reserve plan , and the implementation of the plan has been accompanied by remarkable success with minimal obstacles and problems.
And with the redoubled efforts of ¬the company's environmentalists and the ¬General Directorate of Environmental Protection of Semnan Province and the arrest and enforcement of the law against violators, we have witnessed a significant reduction in illegal hunting.
The cooperative company ¬has selected all of its field forces and rangers from the indigenous people of the region and assigned them to work after receiving the necessary training -and ¬conservation advice.
Apart from creating employment for ¬the youth and residents of the region in the first step, this work has led to further progress due to the rangers' familiarity -with the culture and temperament of the indigenous people and the geographical location of the reserve .
On the other hand, given ¬the high ongoing and constant costs of protecting the region's wildlife, ¬we are required to cover the costs by selling hunting licenses in accordance with the laws and guidelines issued by the Environmental Protection Organization, and we believe that hunting is appropriate when it brings about the survival of wildlife.
